Fiberglass Deck Repair
Diagnose and permanently fix puddling, soft spots, structural rot, missing flashings, improper door transitions, and deteriorated drip edges. Every repair begins with a full structural inspection.
Fiberglass Deck New Construction
For newly built homes where the deck is already framed (with the correct drainage slope built into the framing by the builder) and the first plywood layer is in place. Seashore installs the 1/2″ ACX overlay and completes the full fiberglass waterproofing system: PVC drip edges, wall and post flashings, fiberglass membrane, and marine-grade gelcoat. Framing and the first subfloor are typically completed by the general contractor before our scope begins. (Note: Seashore IS capable of full deck framing on rebuild projects — contact us if your project needs that.)
Fiberglass Deck Resurfacing (Reglass)
Full membrane renewal on structurally sound decks. Existing plywood is re-secured to the framing, drip edges and flashings are corrected, a new 2-oz fiberglass layer is installed, and the surface is finished with fresh textured gelcoat. Pitch correction and substrate replacement are NOT part of standard resurfacing — those are separate services only when a structural issue requires them.
Fiberglass Deck Recolor (Re-Gelcoating)
Surface maintenance for structurally sound decks. Grind, repair minor cracks, clean with acetone, and apply new textured gelcoat. Recommended every 3–5 years depending on coastal exposure.
Composite Decks & Deck Steps
